Drumming up support for the rest of the string strummers was Neil, making a welcome debut on drums, at last month's Open Mic Night. Neil had brought his tom-toms all the way over from Bury and accompanied just about every act on in the evening, giving a real kick to proceedings, and showed no problem backing songs he'd never even heard before!Sadly, no-one had thought to bring a camera on this particular night to get photographic evidence, so you'll just have to take our word for it.
Hopefully he will be back for this month's session, Wednesday, September 23rd, from 9 o'clock onwards. Everybody welcome, players and watchers alike.
